Regular Monthly Donations
Regular donations are taken by Direct Debit. We use GoCardless to take these regular donations. Please select whether you would like to Gift Aid your donation. Gift Aid allows us to reclaim 25% of your donation from HMRC if you pay UK income or capital gains tax. For further information on Gift Aid please see below.

Due to the length of the account name, you may not be able to type it all in and subsequently your online banking platform may say the account name does not match the sort code and account number. This error can be ignored in this instance and the payment will still be received by the Masjid as long as the sort code and account number are correct.
Gift Aid
Gift Aid allows us to reclaim an extra 25% in tax on every eligible donation made by a UK taxpayer. Gift Aid can only be reclaimed on donations made by individuals who pay UK income or capital gains tax at a rate at least equal to the amount reclaimed on their donations in the current tax year. When you donate to Madni Jamia Masjid you will be asked if you wish to Gift Aid your donation.
If you pay tax above the basic rate, you can claim the difference between the rate you pay and basic rate on your donation. This can be done through your Self Assessment Tax return or by asking HMRC to change your tax code.
If your circumstances change and you are no longer paying enough tax for us to claim Gift Aid on your donation please inform us.
